CONTINGENCY PLAN

COVID-19 is a disease caused by the infection with the new Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

The disease is predominantly manifested by respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough and breathing difficulties, there may also be other symptoms, including odynophasia and general muscle pain.

Based on current scientific evidence, this virus is mainly transmitted through:

Direct contact: spread of respiratory droplets, produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks, which can be inhaled or land in the mouth, nose or eyes of people who are close (<2 metres).

Indirect contact: contact of the hands with a surface or object contaminated with SARS-CoV-2 and then with the mouth, nose or eyes.

The success of Public Health measures depends on the collaboration of all citizens, institutions and organisations and society. It is well known that the risk of transmission increases with the exposure to a large number of people, especially in closed environments.

However, with the epidemiological evolution and the need to ensure the continuity of service in our space, a set of measures has been approved that reinforces the prevention of COVID-19.

The Contingency Plan is now defined to be followed by the entire team at Hotel Dom Henrique Downtown:

PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW IN A SUSPECTED COVID-19 CASE
