The first building in Portugal that is exclusively dedicated to music, where the stages are just as important as the space for creation and artistic training, the Casa da Música makes a distinctive impact on the Rotunda da Boavista – a notoriety that is due to its Dutch architect, Rem Koolhaus. With a continuous programme of concerts, the Casa also invites the public to try out musical creation activities in its workshops or to make use of the free Hot Spots.
